#73 fixed make sure third party projects can be disabled andreasw andreasw

For some of the third party projects, it does not work to specify --without-blabla to make sure that they are not compiled even when their source code is there.

  • metis: --without-metis crashes configure script
  • lapack: --without-lapack still compiles LAPACK code if it is there, but it is not linked into executable
  • mumps: --without-mumpslib ?
  • ASL: --without-asldir still compiles ASL, but does not link it into the code (e.g., Ipopt)
#6 fixed make uninstall; make distclean doing partial job andreasw fmargot

After 'make uninstall' and 'make distclean' in a VPATH installation, a lot of stuff are still in the build directory.

Is there a way to really reset the directory in the initial state? I can not find it.

I do have problem to cross-compile cbc for windows using mingw32 on debian wheezy. On a fresh install, I've proceed as follow:

sudo apt-get install subversion build-essential gcc-mingw-w64 mingw-w64 mingw32
svn co coin-cbc-2.8
cd coin-cbc-2.8
./configure --host=i686-w64-mingw32

make failed with the following error:
