#91 invalid run_autotools & configure insert carriage returns in libtool file stefan

I am trying to use BuildTools? for my own solver, since it utilizes many coin-or packages.

Based on the web manual, I have created and files in proper directories of my project directory. BuildTools?/run_autotools has been successfully executed and created configure and other files. And ./configure has also been successfully done. But running make file gives a syntax error when using libtool file. When looking into libtool file, I have found that libtool file contains lots of carriage returns. After eliminating all carriage returns by tr -d '\r' libtool command, everything has run successfully.

I have found this issue on Mac OSX and Red Hat Enterprise.

#92 invalid Cbc compilation problem.. stefan chtsolak

I am a student and i make research. I use windows 7 and MS visual studio 2010 ultimate.

I want to run gamsTest.cpp which is in Cbc-2.7.4\Cbc\test directory in Cbc package, in order to compare with the gams model.

I make a new visual studio project and i copy-paste the code in the source code .cpp file.

But during the compilation i get many errors about the .hpp files

One of the, common between them errors, is:

" 11 IntelliSense?: cannot open source file "CoinError?.hpp" c:\users\christos\desktop\dipl\dipl_test\dipl_test\dipl_test.cpp 14 1 dipl_test "

Maybe i did not understand the concept of the way should be compiled, and all the above are irrelevant...

Please enlight me. Thank you in advance.

#93 worksforme Error in Compilation of Bonmin make stefan martmevi

I am triying to install Bonmin-1.5.1. via cygwin on my windows system. According to instructions I installed the 3rd party code Blas, Lapack, ASL, HSL (MA27 and MC19), Metis. I created the directory "build" and called ./configure -C from there which completed with "Configuration of Bonmin successful". However, when subsequently executing "make", it fails, with the last lines of make compilatin being:

../../../Cbc/src/CbcSolver.cpp: In function 'int CbcMain1<int, const char, CbcModel?&, int<*><CbcModel?*, int>': ../../../Cbc/src/CbcSolver.cpp:1666:error: expected primary-expresion before '>' token make[4]: * [CbcSolver?.lo] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory '/cygdrive/c/Bonmin3/build/Cbc/src' make[3]: * [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory '/cygdrive/c/Bonmin3/build/Cbc/src' make[2]: * [all] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory '/cygdrive/c/Bonmin3/build/Cbc/src' make[1]: * [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/cygdrive/c/Bonmin3/build/Cbc' make: * [all-recursive] Error 1

I would like to provide my configuration log files, as well, but no file named "config.log" can be found in any subdirectory of by bonmin folder. It would be great, if you could help me to overcome my compilation problem.

Thanks a lot,
